The Master of Business Administration (MBA) course offered by Lincoln University focuses on the development of the self-reflective mindset, the analytic mindset, the collaborative mindset, the worldly mindset and the action mindset of the graduates. The MBA course is designed for mid-career professionals, whose careers and management responsibilities transcend a single functional specialty and require a broad array of specialized knowledge and skills. The emphasis of this interdisciplinary, integrated and applied program is on the significant organizational as well as management processes of the public or private institutions doing business on a global scale.
For successful completion of Masters degree in Lincoln University, each candidate should publish minimum of Two research articles in scopus indexed journals, with Lincoln affiliation.
Business Knowledge: The MBA programme educates the students about business and all its related aspects. Students also gain an understanding of the business strategies, business concepts and business skills. This learning will also help the students to manage the day-to-day operations in their respective professional sphere of work, in the future.
Leadership Abilities: An MBA program includes rigorous training sessions, assignments, presentations, group projects and discussions. This program is designed to be delivered over 12 - 24 months on full time study mode, but it is also flexible in its delivery in order to accommodate part time and distance learning education mode from Lincoln College. The qualification is delivered face-to-face through lectures, tutorials, seminars, presentations by approved study centers only.
All units of Management within this qualification are internally assessed by the center and externally verified. The qualifications are criterion referenced based on the achievement of all the specified learning outcomes in Lincoln University.
To achieve a ‘pass’, ‘merit’ or ‘distinction’ for a unit, learners must provide evidence to demonstrate that they have fulfilled all the learning outcomes and meet the standards specified by all assessment criteria. Judgement that the learners have successfully fulfilled the assessment criteria is made by the Assessor.
The Assessor should provide an audit trail showing how the judgement of the learners’ overall achievement has been arrived at by the Lincoln University.
